Soon your library will be offering a wide variety of exciting, engaging and fun leisure learning, small business and family enrichment opportunities. These workshops are created and taught by community members, regular people just like. You don’t need a teaching degree, nor any traditional teaching experience or training. We’re simply looking for passionate people who love what they do.
We need jewelry makers, fisherman, painters, sketch artists, cookie decorators, social media experts, vacation packers, animal trainers, sculptors, musicians, website designers, writers, photographers and more.
If you’ve got a verifiable skill, can create an engaging one or two-hour presentation, provide a written syllabus and a 300 description (to help us market your class) then you might just be able to teach with us.
To get the conversation started, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll get back with you as soon as we can. Library Workshop Instructors can teach at the Belleville, O'Fallon, Glen Carbon, Carlyle, Sandoval, Odin, Centralia, Hoffman, and Irvington libraries.
Our next Library Workshops Teacher Orientation will be held at the Belleville Public Library (Main Branch) 121 E. Washington, Belleville, Il 62220 on November 15 at 6:30 p.m.
Send an email to teach@libraryWorkshops.com to register.
Have you ever wanted to learn to play the guitar, make your own jewelry, fly a drone, take better smartphone photos or bass fish like a professional? Or does your small business need marketing help, classes on social media, website design or search engine optimization? Or would you like to join other families or groups in our special photography outings, fishing tournaments, radio controlled racing challenges or just hang-out under-the-stars for movie night? Well, here at library workshops we’ve got those options coming and more.
