Since 2006 Riley Roam and Kenny Mikey have presented summer reading program workshops to thousands of librarians in multiple states. They bring their passion for books, stories, crafts and LIBRARIES to life in fun, interactive workshops that are filled with information designed to inspire, excite, empower and support librarians. |
Riley is a storyteller, author, performer, artist and former children’s television host. Kenny traveled as a professional clown with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, has also been a kid’s TV personality and is a motivational children’s speaker. |
These days, kids know us from our live shows in theaters, schools and libraries and from our iParenting Media award-winning video series, "This is ONLY a Test!" The series, which helps kids deal with standardized test stress, is seen on select PBS stations nationwide. With our extensive television background, it was natural for us to have our own video production company. Since 2003, we've been producing award-winning videos for children of all ages, including spots for libraries, school districts and even the Travel Channel. In 2010, we were honored to produce the national teen CSLP public service announcement!
We want to inspire YOU to create a great Summer Reading Program with fantastic stories, activities, crafts and BOOKS! They’re the founders of Page Turner Adventures, Inc. A totally unique company dedicated to getting kids excited about books, stories, reading and writing and the publishers of the popular "Storyology" eZine.
